The Cook Book a hit at ASTD

Marc continues to inspire and motivate learners with his dynamic workshop “The Trainer’s Cook Book: 12 recipes for learning engagement success”. Today at the ASTD International Conference and Exposition, held in Washington D.C., 280 people were treated to a dynamic presentation which modelled learning engagement techniques featured in his new book.

I am sure many of you would be aware of the recent announcement and discussions relating to TAELLN411. MRWED has been in continual contact with IBSA and ASQA and is pleased to announce there has been an update to the TAE10 Training package. V3.3 of the TAE10 now has TAELLN411 named as an elective. It’s all OK for Oklahoma Association of Realtors

Marc is taking great steps in MRWED-inizing the USA, with new programs conducted stateside. He was in Oklahoma City today delivering two workshops for the Oklahoma Association of Realtors. The first was “The Trainer’s First Aid Kit: 15 strategies to manage difficult behaviours and situations” and the second was “Understanding the Language of the Learner”.

MRWED is pleased to announce its new relationship with Train West.

Train West is a Western Australian based RTO that has an impeccable reputation delivering qualifications such as: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110), Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41412) and the Certificate IV in Frontline Management (BSB40812). Train West will be facilitating the popular MRWED Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (TAE50111) and the Diploma of Training Design and Development (TAE50211).

Welcome Micaela

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Micaela McNamara to the MRWED family. Micaela has joined us in the role of Client Engagement Representative and will be primarily responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences and increasing the growth of our popular Train-the-Trainer options. Micaela comes to us from a successful career in Employment services, specialising in helping people with disabilities find suitable work outcomes.

Head Office got a new popcorn machine

MRWED are gearing up for the National VET Conference in Brisbane with the purchase of a popcorn machine. MRWED Client Engagement Representative Micaela McNamara said that “we intend to appeal to the olfactory senses of the delegates at this year’s event”.  “We like to do interesting and quirky things and this year we thought we would go with a cooking theme to complement Marc’s session 12 recipes for learning engagement success”, she said.

Getting recognition with FAA in Malaysia

MRWED CEO, Marc Ratcliffe returned to Malaysia this week. In addition to signing a new contact with local partners CeDR corporate consulting, he found time to deliver a two-day workshop for the Financial Accreditation Agency (FAA) on RPL.

A night at the museum – MRWED’s End of Financial Year Function

MRWED celebrated 12 months of success at its annual End of Financial Year Function, held at the Queensland Museum in Brisbane. A great night was had by all.
