SA Power Network Empowering themselves with Diploma

Lead Diploma Trainer, Vijay Naidoo lead a group from SA Power at our MRWED TAA Centre in Adelaide this week. The group will be completing both the Diploma of Vocational Education and Training and the Diploma of Training Design and Development over the next 6 months. From all accounts the students are moving through the material effectively and embracing the key concepts from each program.

Jason to be a Speaker at 2013 AITD National Conference

MRWED Train-the-Trainer specialist, Jason Ash will showcase the magic of the participant-centred approach to training at the AITD National conference in April. He will be presenting the “Fun-sized Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp” at the event, which is the key conference for Learning and Development professionals in Australia. The popularly continues to grow for this program as it becomes a regular feature of learning conferences across the country.

A Mali Return for Marc

Marc Ratcliffe returned to Mali to deliver Trainer Training Workshops linked to the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to mine workers at Syama Mine, in the first two weeks of January. All the sessions were well received and there was significant skills development gained over the fortnight.

MRWED Welcomes Phillip Jefford

We are excited to welcome Phillip Jefford to the MRWED Team as our new Head of Learning. Phillip brings a strong background in Learning and Development and Project Management to the team and we look forward to seeing him add value to the organisation over the coming months.

Trainwest host Train-the-Trainer Boot camp in Perth

Trainwest are the latest in a long list of raving fans after hosting a Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp at their facilities in Perth this week. The Boot Camp boasts more than 102 alternatives to lecture and has already had an impact with participants. According to one of the participant, they “have incorporated several tools that were learnt in the boot camp and have also spent time changing lectures into participant-centred sessions”.
