A Spooky end to the Month

The MRWED Head Office crew got into the swing of Halloween again this year. Screams were heard, blood was spilled, but no students were harmed the making of this theme day. Well done guys and ghouls!

Blair Dunn commenced work this week in the Learning Support section at MRWED. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the fields of Education, Human Resources and Community Services.  With a background in personnel development and capacity building, Blair is a perfect fit for our Learner Success Team.  Blair has a passion for delivering timely, high quality support to help people achieve their educational goals. Live is a Beach for Staff PD week!

MRWED are strongly committed to professional development and this week we blocked out time to develop our own team. The entire business was based at Tangalooma Resort at Moreton Island and participated in a range of validation activities, knowledge extension tasks and some great team-building events.

Fact Finding Tour to Mali bares fruit

CEO, Marc Ratcliffe recently visited the Syama Mine in Mali, West Africa to investigate Trainer Training options for Workplace Trainers, Supervisors and Leading Hands on site. As part of the trip he delivered a 2 day workshop for supervisors in French with great success. He will return in January to complete further Trainer Training Workshops.
